Al llegar el mes
de noviembre en EEUU, todos empiezan a pensar en el Día de Acción de Gracias y en comer pavo. El pavo es el ave oficial
del estado de Massachusetts. En la foto
pueden ver pavos silvestres que pasean por nuestros patios y se posan en los
árboles del bosque. ¿Te puedes imaginar
levantar los ojos y ver a estos gigantes en lo más alto de un árbol? Bueno, no son los pavos silvestres que se
comen, sino pavos domésticos.

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because I get to spend time with my family and eat lots of good food.

ReplyDeleteI see many turkeys on the bus ride to school in the morning. I can sometimes get up to seeing 21 turkeys at once! My sister is scared of them and I find that kind of funny.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday is Christmas. I open my presents from family and friends and spend the entire day with them. We usually eat ham on Christmas all together for a nice holiday dinner. I love Christmas because of all the gifts. Christmas is always a fun time.
ReplyDeletehi, my favorite holiday is Christmas. On Christmas i wake up and open my presents with my family. After we open presents we eat pancakes for breakfast and watch movies. A traditional dinner in my house on Christmas is ham with vegetables and mashed potatoes.

We eat good food and then sit around or sled. Sometimes we go to those Christmas lights shows also because upstate New York is really boring.

Also once Thanksgiving is over, I can be excited about Christmas, because I don't enjoy thinking about Christmas before Thanksgiving, which happens every year.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday is Navarathri. This is a nine day long holiday in which Hindus celebrate the battle in which a goddess expels evil. For nine days, we go around to people's houses and sing before an alter. We get tons of food and small presents from each house. I look forward to it every year, because I get to see all my friends while going around houses.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite holiday is Halloween. Halloween is at the end of October, on October 31st. I like Halloween because I get to walk and chill with my friends. I also get to eat free candy. The main event on Halloween is scaring people and Trick or Treating. Essentially you get free candy! The main food eaten on Halloween is candy, such as Snickers, Skittles and Crunch Bars.
